Minority Medical Student Award Program
Part of the Minority Recruitment Initiative
Conduct hematology research in the cutting-edge facility of a top hematologist in the country. Program participants will receive a research stipend, guidance from an ASH member mentor, complimentary ASH membership, subscriptions to ASH publications, and travel funds to attend the ASH annual meeting. Apply by January 15!
ASH Minority Resident Hematology Award Program
Part of the Minority Recruitment Initiative
Take the next step in your research training and gain valuable experience and guidance in the field. Awardees will receive a $5,000 stipend to support their research project and travel funds to attend the ASH annual meeting. Apply by January 15!
ASH Physician-Scientist Career Development Award
Gain experience in hematology research and learn more about the specialty through an immersive yearlong laboratory, translational, or clinical investigation. Awardees will receive a $42,000 stipend for a one-year period, which will cover living expenses, research supplies, insurance, education, and ASH annual meeting attendance. Apply by January 15!
ASH HONORS Award
Receive a $5,000 stipend to conduct a short-term hematology research project for up to three months or a long-term project lasting between three and 12 months. Awardees will also receive travel funds to attend the ASH annual meeting for two consecutive years. Apply by February 1!
